Long Media Bio

Monica Rivera is a 2nd generation Realtor®, business strategist, and #1 best-selling author on a mission to plant seeds through education, advocacy, and service—empowering individuals and families to revolutionize their lives and build lasting legacies of wealth through ownership, rooted in equity and culture.

Her mission is the soul of her personal brand, Wealth Revolution—a movement that expands the definition of wealth beyond money. For Monica, true wealth is legacy: not just what we pass down in dollars, but what we plant in values—how we love, how we live, how we heal, and what we choose to create in the world. She believes wealth shows up in rich culture and community, mental and physical health, the depth of our relationships, and the ability to shape our own stories.

With over a decade of experience across housing, entrepreneurship, and advocacy, Monica’s work sits at the intersection of real estate, equity, and impact. She began her career by founding a property management firm that quickly scaled through a successful business merger—growing from 90 beds to over 700 and pioneering one of the first international leasing models for student housing. She later led recruiting and sales performance at Keller Williams and Sotheby’s International Realty, supporting top-producing agents and launching high-growth offices across diverse markets.

A seasoned coach and speaker, Monica has delivered keynote addresses and training for national organizations and institutions including the California Association of Realtors’ WomanUP!® Conference and her alma mater, USC. She has been featured on KTLA Channel 5, NPR, KPCC, Huffington Post, and was named a RISMedia Real Estate Newsmaker and a State of California Woman of the Year by Assemblymember Cristina Garcia.

Beyond real estate, Monica is building The Dirty Laundry Club, a mission-driven laundromat and business incubator concept rooted in sustainability, access, and community. She also runs ane-commerce business and consulting firm, helping online sellers grow sustainable income streams through resale and curation. Her housing advocacy work includes volunteering with Abundant Housing LA, where she is helping to launch a Gateway Cities chapter focused on equitable development in Southeast LA.

She is the author of Latina Empowerment Through Leadership and Secrets to Sold (currently out of print), and is working on her third book exploring the intersections of culture, wealth-building, real estate, and policy.

Whether she’s speaking on stage, consulting entrepreneurs, mentoring real estate professionals, or advocating for legislative change, Monica remains deeply rooted in the words of her abuela: “Hay que sembrar para cosechar”you have to plant the seeds in order to reap the harvest.
