Monica Rivera, Realtor & Author of The Chingona Manifesto

Monica Rivera is a Realtor®, Author, Speaker and Investor who sells real estate in the greater Los Angeles area and is passionate about helping others create multi-generational wealth and influence. She has shared the stage with Kevin Harrington of ABC’s Shark Tank and has been featured on multiple media outlets including Real Estate Game Changers Radio, Realtor.com, Behind The Hustle and Clarity FM.

When Monica first decided to pursue entrepreneurship, she had her fair share of struggle— at one point living out of a suit case in the back room of her first office (on a blow-up air mattress that would deflate halfway through each night!), before she achieved success.

After consulting for and building several successful businesses in various niches (real estate, fashion, consumer products, etc.), one which hit 6 figures in just under 6 months, she refocused on what she loves most— making investing and wealth-building opportunities more accessible.

Mujeres Y Yo

As a strong believer that "sometimes saving money and planting roots is an act of revolution", she is especially invested in empowering women to create multi-generational wealth by investing in themselves and in real estate.

Monica writes and speaks on the intersections of culture, wealth-building, real estate and politics and is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, invited by Arianna Huffington herself, and founded The Chingona Collective — a online Facebook community for creators, influencers and creative souls to come together to inspire one another and help each other grow. She is also an investor in a tech based start-up focused on serving Latinx audiences.

As a Business Success Coach and Nero linguistic Programming Master Practitioner, certified by the International Business and Entrepreneurship Association, Monica has been invited to speak and lead workshops on topics ranging from motivation to branding and business at multiple collegiate institutions and national organizations including her alma mater, The University of Southern California, among others.

She also believes very strongly in giving back to the community and contributes a portion of her profits to the Giveback Homes mission to build homes for families in need throughout the US and Central America.

Her first book, Latina Empowerment Through Leadership will be published in May of 2017.
