Monica Rivera is a 2nd generation Realtor®, Keller Williams Team Leader and #1 Best-Selling Author who coaches Real Estate Agents to build sustainable and predictable businesses in the greater Los Angeles area and is passionate about helping others create multi-generational wealth and influence. She has shared the stage with Kevin Harrington of ABC’s Shark Tank and has been featured on multiple media outlets including KTLA Channel 5, Real Estate Game Changers Radio, Realtor.com, Behind The Hustle and Clarity FM just to name a few.

Her experience in real estate spans across multiple fields and generations as she grew up in a family of Realtors® and investors, including her father. Throughout college, Monica worked with a property management firm that focused on mixed-use properties and multi-family collegiate housing, before branching out after graduation to pursue her own entrepreneurial endeavors in the same field.

Upon first deciding to pursue entrepreneurship, Monica had her fair share of struggle— at one point living out of a suit case in the back room of her first office (on a blow-up air mattress that would deflate halfway through each night!), before she achieved success.

Those humble beginnings quickly gave way to a successful business merger and the company, which focused on business development and acquisitions of multi-family properties in college towns, grew surprisingly quickly. Within only 2 years, a portfolio of 90 units became 700+ with a monthly cashflow of half a million dollars for their clients.

As the business grew and evolved, Monica became increasingly passionate about the legacy she wanted to leave and exited the company to refocus on what she loves most— making a lasting impact on someones life by empowering them to create multi-generational wealth by investing in themselves and in real estate.

She joined Keller Williams (in competition with her father's brokerage at the time) in 2016 to do just that and quickly became involved in Keller Williams as a Business Coach and now Team Leader. Through this role, she is able to maximize her impact by empowering Associates to build careers worth having, businesses worth owning, lives worth living, experiences worth giving, and legacies worth leaving.

Monica also writes and speaks on the intersections of culture, wealth-building, real estate and politics and has been a contributor to The Huffington Post, invited by Arianna Huffington herself and is also an investor in a tech based start-up focused on serving Latinx audiences.

As a Business Success Coach and Nero linguistic Programming Master Practitioner, certified by the International Business and Entrepreneurship Association, Monica has been invited to speak and lead workshops on topics ranging from motivation to branding and business at multiple collegiate institutions and national organizations including her alma mater, The University of Southern California, among others.

She also believes very strongly in giving back to the community and contributes a portion of her profits to the Giveback Homes mission to build homes for families in need throughout the US and Central America.

Her first book, Latina Empowerment Through Leadership was published in May of 2017 and became an instant best-seller. Her second book, The Secrets to Sold is set to be released in 2018.
